In San Bernardino, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across California vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach G&V ALTERNATORS AND A/C at (909) 571-5517; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 25 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto air conditioning shop in San Bernardino and suggests consistent service.
San Bernardino is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Bernardino follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Edgar is a very dishonest person. Stay away from his shop. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR RECEIPTS. He takes on jobs that he isn’t licensed for. It took him nearly a whole year to rebuild the engine on my car. He would give us a pick up date. I would call to make pick up arrangements. He would hit with the car is not ready because I don’t have a ETA for one of the parts. He would give us a new pick up date. Again, failed to meet the given pick up date. When we finally got the car back. We had the car for about a month. Next thing you know it’s going back to his shop with same issues that it went in for. He hits us with one of the heads in the engine is bad. I don’t have an ETA for the part. My car sat another 3 months in his shop. Every time we would call him to get an update on the vehicle. He would give us the same excuse that the part had no ETA. We ended up having to pick up our car the way it was. He screwed us over with money. To later found that he isn’t licensed to rebuild an engine.

So my denalis Ac just stopped working. I've taken.my truck to a few different shops and they didn't really address the problem. When me and my husband brought our truck here, the mechanic immediately noticed something the other shop failed to see. We went ahead and moved forward with them. They fixed the problem and we got our truck back the next day. Honest mechanics and they're good at their job

I believe there racist . I just needed a simply refrigerant replacement , they told me it would be $150 to replace but they did not have the product so I had to go purchase it from autozone. I came back and they said they did not have the machine to do it. Knowing that you could not help me and gave me the run around because of my nationality is absurd . I’ve never been to this place so for my first service i would not even give them any stars at all . I do not recommend and I’ll never come back. I will never refer anyone either !
